With Kimchee, you get to explore all the different variations (by the way, did you know there were variations to the traditional kimchi?). Delighting in the nuances of each and enjoying in an entirely new palette of tastes.
Plus we teach you things along the way. How to cook with it. How the different flavors mesh. Even how to make it from scratch completely on your own.
In a few years, kimchi connoisseurs will be a thing (we promise).
And the best thing is, it’s seriously healthy for you. No guilt, no worries. Just bliss.

How is your kimchi made? What does 'home-crafted' mean?
With Kimchee, we strive for the authentic experience of kimchi. This means following a very traditional process. None of that store bought nonsense.
Our head craftswoman, Mrs. Kimchee (read her story here), has been crafting kimchi her entire life. It is a passion unrivaled by any factory process.
In fact, we love it so much, we’ll be sharing our kimchi recipes (all of them) so that you may make it too! They will be published in very short order.
Is my kimchi going to be sour? Does it ferment?
We ship our kimchi as fresh as it gets (see question above), and because of that, our kimchi is fresh on arrival. This means that you now have the choice between fresh kimchi, and a more heavily fermented ‘sour’ kimchi. Refrigerate it to keep it fresh, or let it sit outside to let it ferment. In fact, we highly recommend that you try both, each and every month.
Is shipping free? And how do your guys ship it?
We offer free shipping to anywhere in the United States.
However, due to expedition reasons (super fast delivery), we charge an additional flat rate of $5 for shipments to Canada.
As for the actual shipping, Kimchee is priority shipped via air to minimize delivery/travel time. Our kimchi is prepared and then shipped fresh. We complete prep Monday, ship it Tuesday. This way, your Kimchi is fresh-as-heck.
Doesn't kimchi smell? Will my package smell?
It definitely does. Smells marvelous. So marvelous that in fact, we even sell Kimchi-scented candles.
But all jokes aside, kimchi does have quite a distinct aroma. This isn’t so much an issue when kept in a fridge and brought out for consumption or cooking. But to ensure that your delivery man doesn’t give you dirty glares, we ship chilled-Kimchi packed tightly and accompanied by ‘nice-smelling-stuffs’.
